Membership  

Pitcairn Fire Co. #2 is always looking for fresh new members who are interested in helping the community. Our company offers a variety of memberships to choose from. See if one of our memberships fits in with the lifestyle you lead. Check our MEMBERS ROSTER, you may already know someone involved in Pitcairn Fire Co. No. 2, ask them for an application.

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP

Applicants ages 18 or older can apply for this type of membership. These members are the firefighters and Line-Officers of the company. They organize and run fund raisers to keep the company in operation.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

Applicants ages 15 to 17 years of age may apply for Junior Membership. This membership is governed by PA State laws. Junior members are training to beome Senior Members when they reach the age of 18. Junior Members may run fire calls and preform limited duties at the scene of an incident.

CADET MEMBERSHIP

A person my apply for Cadet Membership between the ages of 12-14. They may not respond to fire calls due to state law, but they can assist the company with fund raisers and other company functions. These members will become Junior Members when the reach the age of 15.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP

This membership is offered to any Senior Member with at least 15 years of continous service at Fire Company No. 2. You are not required to take this membership but if you do, you can remain an 'Active Life Member' by keeping up with the current training standards. This will permit you to still fight fires and remain involved to an extent.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

Social membership is for someone who wants to help the Fire Company without actually "fighting fire". These members help with fund raisers and other business aspects of the company. You must be at least 18 years old to apply for social membership.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

Applicants age 18 and older may apply for Associate membership. They may only preform limited duties at a fire scene. This membership is for persons who are unable to be as active as Senior Members, but wish to contribute to the company as much as they can.

AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP

Applicants age 18 and older can aplly for Affiliate Membership. They shall not vote or nominate on any Fire Company Issue. Nor shall they hold an Elected or Appointed Line Officers position. This membership is for a non-firefighting person who's interest is to help the bussiness end of the company. They must hold an administrative office in order to maintain their membership. This membership is limited to (2) members.
